The candle posture, or "sarvangasana" in Sanskrit, is renowned for its ability to aid blood circulation and reduce the sensation of heavy legs. In this posture, the body is inverted, and venous blood flows unhindered to the heart thanks to gravity. Practice it at the end of your yoga session for 5 breaths and note the difference.
This posture should be avoided by pregnant women, menstruating women and those with high blood pressure. Ask your health professional for advice.
