In order to offer you optimal formulas without the addition of non-essential ingredients, our Bio tablet manufacturing process is based on a compression phase preceded by a wet granulation stage. This know-how enables us to add no more than 30% of additives on average to the tablet. The rest is just the plant!
Our tablets can be composed of a blend of organic plant powders, concentrated organic plant extracts and natural organic food additives (or excipients) authorized under European organic farming regulations
Organic plant powder is obtained from the totality of the plant, which means that, depending on the plant and its properties, we can use all or just some of its parts, which are then dried and ground to obtain plant powder. European Pharmacopoeia standards and organic regulations define the microbiological and pesticide-free criteria to be met by our plant powders
Concentrated plant extracts are obtained by recovering their water-soluble constituents (i.e. soluble in water or alcohol) after immersing the plants in water. After filtering the water, the resulting solution is concentrated under vacuum to evaporate some of the water. This highly concentrated solution is then «atomized», i.e. sprayed in fine droplets to transform it from a liquid into a powder. We use concentrated plant extracts to increase the amount of active ingredients per tablet
An excipient or additive is a substance used to facilitate compression (hence the name «tablet»), and which has only a technological interest. Organic Acacia gum and organic Rice starch are among the natural, certified organic additives we use to help plant powders bind together; they are authorized by European regulations on organic farming
Capsules: The simple plant
To make our organic plant capsules, we mix organic plant powders and/or concentrated organic plant extracts with additives where necessary, and use a capsule of vegetable origin
The design of our capsules is based on a simple process: from certain parts of the plant (stem flowers, leaves, etc.) or the whole plant, we obtain a powder or dry extract
We don't use any other ingredients, except where necessary to facilitate the flow of powder into the capsule, or to obtain enough material to fill the capsule. In these rare cases, organic Acacia gum and organic rice starch are among the natural and certified organic additives we prefer. They ensure that the plant powders sink properly into the capsule during the manufacturing process
The mixture of ingredients is then packaged in a capsule. The capsule shell is made of hypromellose, a cellulose derivative of plant origin. This is the only capsule authorized by the organic label, along with the certified organic pork capsule
